Google Blog Search anpingen

Es kann sein, dass sein Inhalt nicht mehr aktuell ist, Links veraltet sind oder dass auch niemand mehr auf neue Kommentare antwortet.
Bisher hat die Blog-Suche von Google nur automatisch Weblogs indiziert. Wie jetzt im Official Google Blog bekannt gegeben wurde, ist es nun auch möglich den Dienst gezielt anzupingen. Damit kann Google über neue Einträge im eigenen Weblog informiert werden und so evtl. eine bessere Indizierung erreicht werden.
Today we’re launching the Google Blog Search Pinging Service, which is a way for individual bloggers and blog platform providers to inform us of content changes. Blogging providers who syndicate RSS/Atom/XML and want to be included in our Blog Search index can now ping us directly. We’ll continue to monitor other pinging services and will contribute change notifications to the community.
In der jeweiligen Blog-Software muss für den Ping folgende URL eingetragen werden: http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2

Und es funktioniert! Super. Das ist mal eine Entwicklung. Eigentlich ein bißchen typisch Google. Etwas später am Markt aber dafür ganz oben.

Sehr guter Beitrag! Obwohl diese Information schon über ein Jahr alt ist – habe ich von diesem Feature erst jetzt dank dieses Beitrages erfahren. Ich hoffe, dass das anpingen auch wirklich was für die rasche Indexierung bringt.
